Kong Island
The Kingdom is located on a small located in the western North Pacific Ocean. Due to unusual geological and climatological patterns the entire area surrounding the island is shrouded in thick fog. Navigational equipment frequently malfunctions pushing ships off their heading with them realizing it. It is uncertain what causes this phenomenon, but the result is that the island is almost impossible to locate and ships quite frequently pass by it without even knowing it was there. When ships actively pursue access to the island and push deeper into the fog electrical devices cease to function. The effect can range from immediate power failure to fried circuitry. This causes most ships to lose power and drift back out to sea or be dashed upon the rocks and reefs.
The island itself is heavily forested, with a mountain range and large chasm separating most of the northeastern portion from the rest of the island. It is there that the island most distinctive feature, Skull Mountain, can be found rising ominously above the forest line. Sheer cliffs, jagged reefs, and a tumultuous surf make access to most of the island impossible by sea; however, during high tide a small strait in the southeast can be navigated by someone who knows the route.
There are remnants of ancient civilizations throughout the islands, but practically all information about them is lost to antiquity. It is believed that a primitive culture existed around the time of the Venture’s arrival, but it was destroyed in the Great Rampage. Though much of the island is uninhabited, there is a sizable population of ape-men located in the south-western region. Various military outposts are also located throughout the island, but there are no formal settlements.

The city is built on remnants of a primitive village that is believed to have been the site of the Great Rampage. It is centered around Louie Harbour (a feature that gives it has access to the only strait through the barrier reef) with mountains rising around it to the north. A series of mountains and valleys divide the city into various geographic districts. Despite its cutting edge technology, the city retains much of its natural beauty. Building are designed so that the architecture enhances the environment and most large building are built underground, with only the upper levels visible.
The Farm District
Located just outside the border wall, the farm district exists outside the general protection of the militia. Most agriculture is done on plots that are occupied during the day with the work force returning to the city before nightfall. Barns, day houses and military checkpoints dot the landscape, with fields, crops and vineyards stretching between them.
